ISO 14001 Environment Management System Documentation

ISO 14001 is a generic document that does not state "how" but "what" to accomplish. The standard requires that the Environment Management System be documented and demonstrable in accordance with ISO 14001 standards. The Committee for Management Review and Corrective Action might make recommendations for changes to the procedure from time to time. Implementing the change should be done by the Management Representative.

Quality Works, a small internet-based publishing company has set a goal of becoming compliant with ISO 9001.2000. The Management Team assigned Quality Works' Business Manager the task of developing and implementing documentation that would meet the new standards.
